Integrated plant protection reports

In Catalonia, there are 119 Plant Protection Associations (ADVs). In an area of 209,034 ha of crops, 22,322 farmers receive support from their 179 advisors. Plant Protection Associations constitute a basic network of technical advice that develop action programs in plant health. Their main objective is the implementation of pest management at the area level, as well as prevention and control through the rational and sustainable use of plant protection products, and the application of the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

AgrospAI allows pest prediction companies to train their models while ensuring they do not access raw data. Therefore, Plant Protection Associations maintain control over the data they generate. They plan to use AgrospAI to make available the pest information they collect in different fields across Catalonia. Their goal is not to monetize this information, but to know who uses it and for what purpose. This includes public administration agencies, but also companies that have developed pest prediction models that need to be fed with real data to make more accurate predictions. AgrospAI allows pest prediction companies to train their models while ensuring they do not access raw data, so Plant Protection Associations maintain control over the data they generate.

Currently, AgrospAI presents a dataset with pest capture records:
